Awards ranging between $500 to $4,000 for dependent children of participating Union members.
Zonta Young Women In Leadership Award - Deadline February 2nd (Preferred submission is email)
Zonta Club of Roseburg is seeking applications for their 2026 Young Women in Leadership Award. Applications for the $2,000 YWL award are open to young women ages 16-19. The application requires two letters of recommendation and five short personal statements. Prompts are on the application.
Olsrud 4-H and FFA Scholarship - Deadline March 1st
$5000 for students who have been in 4-H or FFA for two years.
The Ford Family Foundation Scholarship - Deadline March 2nd by 5:00 pm.

Oregon Tech Foundation Scholarship Program - Deadline March 2nd, at 5:00 pm
More than 185 scholarships to Oregon Tech students totaling more than $1,000,000. Application opens early December.
Diversity in Leadership Scholarship - Deadline March 2nd.
University, Trade School, Community College, Apprenticeship in Oregon. Two underrepresented and diverse high school graduates will receive scholarships totaling $25,000.
Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling (PNACAC) - Deadline March 15th
$1,000 scholarships for students who reside in the PNACAC region. Must have a GPA of 3.0 and be in your senior year of high school. To apply, students will record a video that addresses a designated prompt.
Douglas County Farm Bureau Scholarship - Deadline: March 15 (Must be mailed and received by 3-15-26)
Awarding five $1000.00 scholarships. Application will be available in January.
Cascade Community Credit Union Pathfinder Scholarship - Deadline is March 20th, 2026 - New application not released yet but you can look at last years to prepare.
Awarding three $2000.00 scholarships to standout student from the community. Recipients are selected on the basis of their academic performance, community involvement, financial need, and the applicant's potential to succeed in their chosen area of study. Must be a member of the credit union.
Oregon Scottish Rite Education Foundation - Deadline is March 30th, 2026.
Annual awards range from $2,000 - $30,000. Attending accredited college, university, or trade school.
DHS Common Scholarship Application - Deadline: April 10th, 2026
There are 5 different scholarship included in this one application and it is only for Douglas High School students. Turn the application into Ms. Tristany or Mr. Box at Douglas High School.
Harrington Family Foundation Scholarship - Deadline March 31st
Oregon Community Leadership Scholarship is awarded each academic year to five Oregon graduating high school seniors headed to an in-state university, college or trade school for full-time post secondary education. Four year renewable scholarship at $6,250 per year. The scholarship also provides each student key mentorship support: personalized access to a board of 11 influential leaders/mentors in the community. This is a fundamental aspect of the scholarship program, and requires student/mentor participation.
Josh Bidwell Foundation Scholarships - Open Now Deadline February 27th, 2026
2026 General & 2026 Athletic scholarships. Giving away $30,000 to Douglas County Students. Application available January 2026.
SELCO Community Credit Union Scholarships - Open from February 1st - March 31st.
If you are a graduating senior with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, planning on attending either a two- or four-year college, and are a member (or have someone in your immediate family who is a member) of SELCO Community Credit Union then follow the link to apply for a $2,500 scholarship.
VFW Auxiliary Contests and Scholarships - Deadline March 31st, 2026

Oregon Community Leadership Scholarship - Deadline March 31st
Four graduating seniors headed to in-state colleges, university, or trade school. Four year renewable scholarship, $5,000 per year. Proof of community involvement/volunteerism, and have financial need.

Graduating high school seniors with a 2.5 GPA or better. Activities chart, letters of recommendation, and 100-word essay required. Three $1000.00 scholarships.
Oregon Pacific Bank - Deadline: April 4th. Three scholarships available.
This scholarship was established in 1981 to encourage and recognize outstanding high school seniors in our communities. Five scholarships are awarded annually. Applicant does NOT need to be a bank customer. Primary consideration in selecting the candidate will focus on leadership in community service or extra-curricular activities while maintaining credible academic achievement. Applicants must be in the current year graduating class in the following schools or geographic areas: Siuslaw High School (Florence, Oregon), Mapleton High School (Mapleton, Oregon), Douglas County, Coos County, Jackson County, Eugene/Springfield area.

OnPoint Community Credit Union Scholar Program - Graduating Seniors with 3.5 GPA or higher and earned a varsity letter in an OSAA-sanctioned sport or competed in an OSAA-sanctioned activity. Six scholarships totaling $40,000. Deadline April 30th
Oregon Promise Grant - State grant that helps to cover tuition costs at any Oregon community college for recent high school graduates and GED® test graduates. Deadline dependent on Graduation date. Typically June 1st
Walk on the Wild Side Scholarship - Peoples choice Art Display at the City of Winston's Wine Walk event in July 1st, 2024. Instructions on the flier. Deadline June 16th, 2023
BigSun Scholarship- All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute. Amount: $500 Deadline June 19th, 2024
