Hello,

I am incredibly honored to be the principal at Douglas High School. This is my first year as principal and I am very excited to build a positive culture and create a rigorous learning environment in a brand-new Douglas High School. I grew up in Winston and graduated from Douglas High in 1990.  I attended Southern Oregon University and Lewis and Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. Upon returning to Douglas, I spent 8 years teaching in special education and 8 years as the director of the Dillard Alternative School. I was hired in 2019 as the assistant principal/athletic director then promoted to principal. I am surrounded by an amazing administration, teaching, office, classified and custodial staff that makes Douglas High School a great place to work.
